Sales

The sales contract is between you, “the buyer” and me, “the artist” Jacob Charles.

All sales are made under the Consumer Contracts Regulations:

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/contents/made

When purchasing originals I sell these framed in a floating frame that suits the style of the painting. These are custom made and there can be a delay in dispatch due to waiting for these to  be made. If there are unexpected delays I will contact you to update.

If you buy from me I aim to ship all items purchased within ten working days of receiving payment unless otherwise clearly stated on the product description OR if your identity and/or address cannot be authenticated.

I’m a sole trader and if problems or delays arise I will let you know as soon as possible. At this time you may choose to:

  • Cancel your order and receive a full refund or,

  • Agree an amended delivery date.

Currently the shipping cost to the UK and EU is included in the price of the item. If shipping internationally outside of the EU please contact me prior to purchasing so I can look into the price of postage. This price will have the usual postal costs minused to ensure a fair and equal service.

Before any orders are shipped the payment needs to be made and cleared.

Shipping.

Canvases are wrapped in tissue paper, packing paper, and then wrapped in foam and bubble wrap contained in a box.

Prints are placed in a clear sleeve which is secured using several layers of double cardboard which is then sent in an envelope.

All items are shipped with DPD.
